Cover-up tunics: What's in

best cover-up tunics for summer 2016

By Katya Phillips
Maybe it’s just me, but when it comes to cover-up tunics I prefer purchasing versatile pieces. This season I’m on a hunt for a gorgeous sun dress that I can also wear outside of the beach not only in the Hamptons, but also in the City. In this episode of Friday Five series I propose to your attention cover-ups that are on top of my summer shopping wishlist.
ONE // Geometric
I appreciate the fact that this geometric cover-up by Red Carter is featuring many colors as opposed to a typical monochrome design. In my humble opinion, such multicolor approach makes it easier to match this cover-up with other items in your summer wardrobe.
TWO // Palm Leave Print
If you are on Instagram, you know that everyone in a fashion bloggers community is obsessed with a palm leave print season and I’m not an exception. Looking at this stunning cover-up dress by Maaji, all I could think about is “When is my next trip to the beach?”
THREE // Off-The-Shoulder
I’m in awe of this draped dress by MLM Label! Not only it comes in a perfect light pink shade, it also features one of the hottest trends of the season—of-the-shoulder silhouette!
FOUR // Tassels
If you follow my blog for a while, you probably remember that I wore an ombre version of this dress during my recent trip to Belize. My dress is white and pink and features beaded fringe while this gorgeous dress by Sundress is decorated with tassels—it’s so summery and fun!
FIVE // Embroidery
Perhaps, I love embroidered pieces so much because I’m Russian—it’s in my blood to crave handmade decorated details. Saying so, it’s easy to understand why I love this gorgeous cotton dress by PILYQ—it’s so elegant and so nicely decorated.
