February Beauty Faves

febraury favourites | Tarte, Nars, L'Oreal, Anastasia Beverly Hills, Hourglass
The end of February has rolled around pretty quickly as I went home for two weeks and have been working on something special (I’ll announce it in mid-March). Even though I’ve been travelling and keeping busy, I’ve still managed to fall in love with five different products that I’ve been using constantly this month! I don’t think I’ve ever wrote a proper ‘favourites post’ but I’m hoping to make it into a month thing! So without further-ado here are my February Favourites!

I basically stole this foundation from my sister when I went home earlier this month. She wasn’t a fan of it and wanted to get rid of it anyway but there was no way I was letting her give it to anyone else after trying it on the back of my hand. This foundation has an incredibly light-weight texture for how full coverage and matte it is. It claims to have a 24hr wear time; I can’t attest to that as I’ve never had to wear it for that amount of time, but it is very long-wearing! I can get a good 8+ hours out of it without even thinking about having to make any touch-ups. I have been reaching for it nearly every day this month! I wear the shade 101 Classic Ivory, incase you were wondering.
This is a product I actually fell back in love with this month. I ran out of my Anastasia Brow Wiz while back home and again resorted to sifting through my sister’s makeup collection to find something that would work. I ended up going with her ABH Dipbrow in Medium Brown (I own soft brown and can make both colours work with my hair colour). I forgot how precise of an application you can make with a pomade and small angled tipped brush. I’ve been loving a really sharp arch/tail with a softer almost feathered out look to the front of the brow. And dipbrow is the perfect product to achieve that look!
I have been reaching for this palette constantly this month! It is small and compact but has enough colours that you can create so many different looks with it! I’ve been enjoying a darker, smokier eye look this month (I usually do quite neutral soft eyeshadow looks). Whisper, first kiss, and bff are my go-to shades for the time being. If you want to know more about the Tarte eyeshadows and their Tartelette collection you can read this post of mine!
As I mentioned above, I’ve been opting for a much more smokey look than usual when it comes to my eyes. Eyeliner is a must on me when I do a smokey eye, it’s the only way to make everything look balanced. I’ve been reaching for this Hourglass eyeliner in Obsidian pretty much every time! I still prefer my Kat Von D Tattoo Liner for drawing on a wing but this liner is perfect for the water and tight line (upper and lower lash line). It is super tiny and thin so it makes the uncomfortable process of tight-lining the slightest bit more comfortable. It also last for a really long time on me as well, which always seems to be a problem when applying liner in my water-line.  I wish there were more colours!
This lipstick is the most beautiful red I have ever applied to my lips. And that’s saying something because I’m positive I own over 20 red lipsticks! The NARS Audacious lipstick collection is one of my all time favourites. They are creamy, smooth, pigmented, matte, and very long-wearing! But it’s the colour of Rita that has be head over heels! It’s such a perfect true red without being too blue or too orange. It’s the epitome of a deep, rich, classic, red lipstick and I’m in love with it!

These are the products that I have been loving this month; but what are you loving!? Let me know in the comments below!
