Welcome: Editor's note for November

Welcome!

When I first had the idea for Awoken Magazine it looked drastically different than it looks now. I had originally planned for it to be a one woman operating blog called "Teenagedr3ams." Classy right?

However one thing remains the same. I would have never imagined that a small idea would have turned into Awoken Magazine. On my journey to get this magazine where it is now, I've met so many new people, and learned to recognize and appreciate the talents of the people I already knew, whose skills I never fathomed to have possess.

I don't fancy for this magazine to become wildly famous. However, what I hope every reader will carry with them for reading Awoken Magazine is a drive for motivation. An appreciation for the things that surround us. I hope you'll enjoy reading our website and that it'll spark the curiosity within. Our ultimate goal is to make our reader's aware of the ideal teenager's perspective on the world.

I hope you will venture on this incredible journey with us. Awoken Magazine is proud to bring you a collection of pieces from a group of diverse and talented teenagers. You'll explore who we are and what we love to do. And most importantly, I'll hope you find out more about yourself in the process. The inner epitome of the teen inside you no matter if you're already a teenager, or an adult.

Awoken Magazine is extremely proud to present ourselves to you. I'm not kidding when I say welcome to the teenage haven.
Ashwini Selvakumaran,
Founder and Chief Editor, Of Awoken Magazine.
